Vintage sequinned mini dress by BlackTie, Oleg Cassini. Cassini was a French/American designer who designed dresses for Jacqueline Kennedy.
Slinky style with top layer of dress comprising sewn on purple sequins and small gold beads with larger gold beads around neckline, straps and armholes. Has plunging neckline at back. The shell (the layer the sequins are sewn on) is purple silk and the lining is purple rayon. Originally from the US but labelled made in China (who else would have the patience to sew all those sequins on). Closes at the back with a long nylon zip. Has gorgeous silk chiffon matching purple scarf trimmed with gold beads at each end.
