Stunning original vintage 50s dress by Doris Dodson. New Look styling with fitted bodice that flares out to wide skirt.

Constructed with 8 gored panels and extra darts to give a wonderful shape with no waist seam. Made from acetate cotton which has a very fine ribbed effect and slight sheen.

The fitted bodice has a scooped neckline that sits wide on shoulders. The skirt is finished with a gathered  frill that attaches to red lining to give a wonderful bubble effect. It is trimmed with a soft bow in same fabric as dress.
Has original thin tailored belt with covered buckle and closes at the back with a long metal zip.

Original vintage 50s dress by Doris Dodson is jet black.
