What “Vintage” Means
Vintage clothing refers to original garments produced in previous decades, typically from the 1920s through to the 1980s. As such, they differ significantly from modern mass-produced clothing.
Because our garments are authentic vintage pieces, they may show natural signs of age consistent with their history.
Condition of Vintage Garments
Because these garments are vintage:
- Most items are preloved.
- Minor signs of wear consistent with age may be present.
- Even items described as “mint” remain vintage and may be more delicate than new garments.
- Wearable condition means gentle wear only.
- All visible flaws, alterations or signs of wear are disclosed in the product listing where identifiable.
Collectors and lovers of vintage fashion understand that minor imperfections may be present due to age, and these do not necessarily affect the garment’s beauty or wearability.
